In an interview from the 1980s, Michael Jackson revealed his battle against acne during his teens. As a result this infliction caused Jacko to become obsessed and paranoid about his appearance.
Listening to this interview you can hear how Michael tried changing his diet in his attempt to get rid of the acne; which only became worse the more he tried. Micheal even tried concealing it by wearing hats and holding his head down. He said the only relief he got was when he walked on stage, which took his mind off his acne problem.
