How Does the Derma Roller Work?

It works by stimulating the dermis to produce collagen or increasing absorption of active ingredients with the use of hundreds of very thin needles.

The Derma Roller is specifically designed to create small openings in the top layer of the skin which create pathways for product applied to the skin to absorb into the deeper layers of the skin. The pores then close up again after about an hour.

The various Derma Roller manufacturers claim their products give  similar results to those of Laser, Chemical Peels and Dermabrasion treatments at a fraction of the cost; and without the trauma and soreness to the skin afterwards.
